If your financial aid exceeds your tuition, fees and bookstore charges you will receive the remaining financial aid as a refund.
When will I receive my financial aid refund?Financial Aid - grants, scholarships, and loans for each semester is usually applied to your college student account approximately two weeks after the registration deadline for financial aid recipients. If your financial aid file is still under review, or you have a late-start course your financial aid may be applied to your account at a later date.
